The only thing that can top the service are the food and coffee. Had breakfast here twice and both times it was delicious. Staff was cheerful, fast and helpful.
We were taken to this place as we were visiting Inverness from London. Must say we tried the tattie scones and there were amazing!!. Had the full "Scottish" breakfast and was extremely nice. The staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome. If you're in Inverness and you fancy a breakfast, it's definitely worth a visit.
Amazing breakfast spot! We had a really satisfying meal—avocado with salmon, fluffy pancakes, and some delicious pastries. Everything was super fresh and full of flavor. Great way to start the day, definitely worth a visit!
Toasties and soup are really good! Staff was super friendly. Lovely little cafe!
We came to Scotland on our honeymoon. Our first full day we wanted to start with breakfast. On a whim we chose this place. So happy we did. My wife had the avocado toast with smoked salmon and poached eggs. I had the pancake stack with maple & bacon with a side of croissant and bacon with tomato. The food was incredibly fresh and came out hot. The owner made herself known to everyone and we had good conversation with her. The atmosphere here is relaxed. No one seems to be in a rush to leave. Good window seating to people watch everyone walking down High St. It was so good we had to come back the next day for more before we headed to Edinburgh. 20 out of 10 stars. You must eat here when you come to Scotland!
Sweet old-school cafe on the main Mall in Inverness. Nothing too fancy (which is sometimes just what you want), but food was tasty, plentiful and good quality, the service exceptional. They made us feel very welcome, and attended to everything promptly. Hard to fault.
This was such a nice experience. The owner and her sister were so lovely. The service was excellent. We got there about 15 minutes before they opened and they opened up and let us come in. I got eggs and bacon on sourdough and it tasted so fresh. The sourdough held up and I've never seen any restaurant give such a generous amount of avocado. The flavors were balanced and it was delicious! Prices were very reasonable and I thought they had a good selection/variety. They also have coffee and bakery desserts. I wasn't expecting that a lot of the cafes and restaurants (and stores) are not open until 9am and close early, I think because there is less foot traffic following covid. I'm here in late September 2023. Definitely add this as a spot to try in Inverness. Look up the hours to make sure you can get by when they are open.
We had an awesome breakfast in here. The service was great, friendly and speedy. Very happy we passed by here as it started to rain we popped in and were suitably impressed.
